This past Sunday afternoon, we took a drive over toward Greenwich, NY, to visit a remote bookstore we know about.
Although we only purchased three modest books that day, we got to look at

Snuggled as this county is between two popular vacation regions, Vermont's Green Mountains and New York's Adirondacks, it goes largely overlooked. I suspect for most of the folks who live there, that is just fine.
Oh, the county has it's share of problems. It's not easy to make a living in rural areas these days. But those views just make me sigh.
I'd rather you didn't tell anyone else about this place. I kinda like it just the way it is right now.
